This is a more detailed discussion on the aspects of the Modified Accrual, Reference Margin and Structural Change calculations found in the CAIS program.

- highlights the impact of artificially depressed prices and the need for a replacement program for the Market Revenue Insurance Program
- highlights the promise made by Premier McGuinty of 5% of gasoline sold in Ontario by 2007 and the need for getting ethanol plants built in Ontario.
CAISP Challenges, Policies and Procedures
The introduction of the CAIS program this past year has generated a great deal of discussion and concern about the adequacy of the program to give sufficient protection to mainstream Canadian family farms from both short term and long term income declines.This is a more detailed discussion on the aspects of the Modified Accrual, Reference Margin and Structural Change calculations found in the CAIS program.
