TABLE FOR CONVERTING WET KILOGRAMS OF GRAIN CORN TO DRY TONNES

The following tables can be used to convert wet weights of grain corn, in kilograms, to the equivalent dry weight (15.5% moisture) in tonnes. To convert wet kilograms to dry tonnes, divide the wet weight by the appropriate divisor factor listed below. The divisor factors shown assume no invisible loss during drying. (A deduction for invisible loss may be subtracted by some commercial elevators.)

Example: Dry tonnes = Wet kilograms x ((100-% moisture)/(100-15.5)/1000)
