MARKETING OF GENETICALLY ENHANCED CORN
As indicated in the July issue of Ontario Corn Producer, OCPA requested
all licensed corn dealers to let us know by August 31st which elevator locations will be receiving all corn for purchase this fall
(i.e., including corn not approved for European Union importation). Notes on affected hybrids and further details
were provided in the July issue.
The following listing is based on those dealers that responded to the request as of September 13, 1999 and
is subject to change. This list may not be complete. Please note that if a dealer does not appear on this list,
they may still be receiving genetically enhanced corn even if they are not accepting corn not approved for European
Union importation. Producers are encouraged to contact buyers
directly for their buying policy, updates and verification of delivery details.
Also, you will note that some dealers have requested notations be included with the listing.
