Diversification a Challenge for Technology Group

McLaughlinDiversity is often touted as the Ontario agri-food industry's biggest strength. But when it comes to creating a public persona for its many players, that diversity is a real challenge. There are many voices, many interests and many perspectives to harmonize, satisfy and represent. When coordinated efforts succeed - efforts like Agricultural Groups Concerned About Resources and the Environment (AGCare), or the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association - they can be a powerful platform for the industry. And that's what Murray McLaughlin looks forward to as he completes his first 18 months as president of Ontario Agri-Food Technologies (OAFT). (
